Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Hairdaze. By creating an account or using the Hairdaze app or website, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Hairdaze.
Not medical advice
Hairdaze is a planning and confidence tool, not a medical service. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition, and nothing it shows you is medical advice. Its forecasts and suggestions are estimates based on the information you log, and they can be wrong. For anything concerning your scalp, your hair loss, or your health — including anything relating to menstrual cycle tracking — speak to a qualified professional. Never disregard professional advice because of something you read in Hairdaze.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Hairdaze. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use it with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
Closed beta
Hairdaze is currently in closed beta. That means features may change, break, or be removed; data may occasionally be lost; and access may be granted or withdrawn at our discretion. The service is provided on an as-is basis during this period, and you should not rely on it as the only record of anything important to you.
Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.
- Provide accurate information when signing up, including a working email address — it is how you recover access if you forget your password.
- Tell us promptly at support@hairdaze.app if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.
- You may delete your account at any time from within the app.
Your content
The logs, ratings, notes, and other information you put into Hairdaze belong to you. You grant us the permission needed to store and process that information in order to operate the service and generate your insights — and nothing beyond that. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising. See the Privacy Policy for detail.
Acceptable use
Don’t:
- Break the law, or use Hairdaze to harm or harass anyone.
- Attempt to access other users’ accounts or data.
- Probe, scrape, overload, or interfere with the service or its infrastructure.
- Reverse engineer the app except where that right cannot lawfully be restricted.
- Resell or redistribute the service without our permission.
Subscriptions and payment
Hairdaze may offer paid features. If it does, purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account, subject to Apple’s terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and you manage or cancel them in your App Store settings rather than in the app. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies.
Our intellectual property
The Hairdaze name, logo, app, website, and the software behind them remain ours. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for its intended purpose, and nothing more.
Ending access
You can stop using Hairdaze and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms, if it is necessary to protect the service or other users, or if we discontinue the product. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will give you notice and a chance to export or retrieve your information.
Disclaimers
Hairdaze is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its forecasts and insights will be accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hairdaze and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or lost opportunities, arising out of your use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or twenty US dollars.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable where the operator of Hairdaze is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory local law gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product develops. The date at the top will change, and if a change is significant we will let you know in the app or by email. Continuing to use Hairdaze after an update means you accept the revised terms.
